Governor Yuan Jiajun gives a thumb up to "Golden Blue Collar" and new era craftsmen

On January 7, 2020, Yuan Jiajun, Governor of Zhejiang Province, received the contestants and expert coaches of Zhejiang Province award-winning projects of the 45th World Skills Competition, and the winners of the 6th Chinese National Games for Disabled, and the 15th "Zhenxing Cup" National Youth Occupations Skills Competition and the 9th National Civil Affairs Professional Skills Competition. Vice Governor Wang Wenxu participated. Gao Yuzhou, who comes from Zhejiang Construction Technician College and is the silver medalist in the 45th World Skills Competition in Plastering and Drywall Systems, was received. Xie Ping, Board Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, Qian Zhenghai, President of Zhejiang Construction Technician College, expert group leader and coach of plastering and partition system project attended the interview.

Yuan Jiajun, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, first congratulated the high-skilled talents of our province for their outstanding achievements, and expressed sincere gratitude and new-year greetings to the comrades working in the province's skill front.  Every trade has its master, he said. Contestants and coaches of our province constantly perfected their skills and strove for excellence in the competition. They have won honor for our country and raised the status of Zhejiang, fully demonstrating the spirit that all walks of life are practical, taking the lead, and braving the tide, vividly interpreting the craftsman spirit and Zhejiang spirit.  We must give a thumb up to "Golden Blue Collar" and new era craftsmen. He encouraged all the contestants and coaches to make persistent efforts and scientific train, and urged them to seize every minute and work harder, dare to challenge strong competitors and surpass themselves, and strive to win greater honor for Zhejiang and China.

Yuan Jiajun emphasized that Zhejiang is at a critical juncture of high-quality development in the current and a period in the future. Zhejiang's high-quality development requires high-quality products, strong support from highly skilled talents, and the spirit of craftsmanship in every link and detail.  All localities and departments should respect high-skilled talents as they respect senior experts, and focus on the training of high-skilled talents as they value the cultivation of senior experts, vigorously implement the new era craftsman cultivation project and "Golden Blue Collar" vocational skill improvement actions, and accelerate the system perfection of training, using, evaluation, and motivation of skilled talents, so as to effectively improve the level of running technical colleges and vocational education, and strive to create an army of highly skilled talents for the high-quality development of Zhejiang.
